The cancellation of the Fête de l'Ecole, understandably (due to a breakdown in the cold chain, the risk of falling branches and partial flooding of the stadium) by the Management Committee, makes us doubly sad.

Our thoughts are with the students, parents and alumni who had registered and were looking forward to seeing their school and friends again. We share their disappointment. We have a special thought for Isabelle LAHALLE, always active, among other things for the party. This year was her last. After more than 30 years of service to the School, Isabelle is retiring.

The association had decided to let the École pay him the tribute he deserved for the work he had carried out in its midst. This did not mean, however, that the association had forgotten her. The plan was to surprise her by naming her, in front of all the staff, alumni, students and their parents, HONORARY MEMBER of AERN, to thank her for her active collaboration with the association.

Isabelle, it's only a postponement. We'll be organizing this nomination during an ApéRoches where you'll be the guest of honor, accompanied by your husband, parents and children. We'd be honored to have you and your family attend. Above all, you will bring joy to many alumni who knew you as a student and then as an "adult" at the School.

We say "rainy wedding, happy marriage", I'll say "rainy retirement, happy retirement".
